Jon Kaufman - CEO - Board Member

Jon joined Rotary eight years ago to start a different kind of water project, one that elevated women and established independent villages. H2OpenDoors has installed 33 robust water plants in 11 countries, many of which are enterprises raising revenue for essential social services. Jon's book, Long Walk on a Dry Road, chronicles these expeditions where he has brought over 500 to immerse in the cultures and provide service. GWF intends to scale up this work to create hundreds of water and power plants throughout the world. Jon has owned the Silicon Valley marketing firm of Kaufman, Levine & Partners for 30 years.

Steve Patzkowski - Chief Strategy Officer - Board Member

Steve is a Social Impact Entrepreneur, Rotarian and the Founder & CEO of Ethix Merchant Services, a social impact company in the credit card processing space. Steve has initiated and directed several local and international fundraising projects to provide relief and advantage for numerous schools and nonprofit organizations. Steve’s philosophy in business and in life is: True Abundance is the realization and embodiment of the more we give away, the more we have.

Angela has had a dynamic career in both financial services and fundraising for humanitarian efforts globally. Having spent 10+ years in both industries, she is keen on business models that make an impact. Angela is passionate about connecting people and organizations to create scalable and strategic partnerships that solve big issues for people and the planet. Serving as Director of Global Connections at Alight, her work brings in critical funds and resources for the organization’s mission as an international humanitarian organization supporting refugee communities globally.

Donald Brostrom - Chief Financial Officer

Donald has served at various times as Treasurer, CFO and COO of financial organizations, responsible for establishing and management of all operational, internal control and regulatory procedures. He has worked with Alliance Capital Management, Dean Witter Reynolds, Furman Selz, ING Group NV and SEI Investments. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director of BNY Mellon, with executive responsibilities for a global team of professionals providing support to all technology systems in use by BNY Mellon's Alternative Investments business.

Jason is an attorney with over sixteen years of experience working with start-ups and investors in Silicon Valley and beyond. He has counseled hundreds of companies while working at law firms and served in house as both general counsel and chief financial officer throughout his career. Prior to the law, Jason served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear trained submarine officer.

Robert Marshall - Head of Global Installations

Robert Marshall is a dedicated Rotarian. As Past President of the Rotary Club of Novato in California, and Assistant Governor for California’s Rotary district of the SF Bay Area, Rob has sponsored and managed multiple projects throughout the world. That’s where he learned about the work of H2OpenDoors, a project of Rotary clubs worldwide. Today he serves as head of Global Installations for Global Water First, and has overseen installs of large water purification systems in the Philippines, Kenya and Guatemala.

Jack Barker

is the President of Innovative Water Technologies in Rocky Ford, CO. Jack invented the SunSpring 12 years ago and has seen over 550 deployed throughout the world. Fully certified in the state of Colorado and California for public water systems, IWT also manufactures smaller versions of the Ultra Filtration units for the US Military and disaster response agencies.

Nyasha Gwatidzo

is a Social Impact Entrepreneur, Investor, Multi award winner, Author and Philanthropist. She is currently launching a women’s empowerment social impact fund for Sub Saharan Africa women entrepreneurs. She is passionate about children and in all her social enterprises she supports disadvantaged children in UK and Africa.

Dennis Kim

is Chairman of the Board of EVS, a major civil engineering company with a focus on renewable energy installations. Based in Minnesota, over half of the projects EVS designs and deploys are large engineering designs for the U.S. solar market. A proud Rotarian, Dennis leads over 60 engineers and staff towards excellence.
 

Manyang Kher

was one of the Lost Boys of Sudan. Manyang spent 13 years in an Ethiopian Refugee Settlement until he turned 17 when he moved to Virginia thanks to a USA resettlement program. As founder of the Humanity Helping Sudan project, his devotion to refugees has caught the eyes of government leaders and celebrities worldwide. His company, 734 Coffee will soon expand its brand with GWF to include 734 Water.

Nathaniel Paynter

is an international development consultant dedicated to solving the persistent challenges of sustainability, scale, and impactful interventions in the water, sanitation, and the hygiene sector. His several years as an executive with the Safe Water Network and Charity: Water before that give him a strong perspective on how to develop solid and sustainable solutions for the rural poor.

Dr. Samuel Gibbs

has held positions as a General Manager, Strategic Planner, Vice President of Training and Development, and the position he retired from, Director of Internal Audit and Quality. Past President of Victorville Rotary Club, Inland Empire Chapter, Immediate Past President of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc., Riverside Alumni Chapter, Charter Sire Archon (President) of Epsilon Tau Boule (Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity), Co­Founder of the Hundred Black Men of the Inland Empire and many other philanthropic endeavors.
 

Bycha Buxton

is a technology generalist based in the Silicon Valley and the managing director and founder of Aerial Imagery LLC, a data and 3D visualization company specializing in imersive photography, virtual staging, and construction progress documentation.
